Benjamin Kuitenbrouwer (1988, Amsterdam) owes his nickname Monki to his penchant for swinging back and forth between metre-high poles like an acrobat. He calls himself a circus artist and stage performer. He creates performances in which he uses circus as an intermediary between the things that occupy him every day. Now, for example, that is our view of mankind and the conviction that it needs change.
