After working as a visual artist I decided to focus on the medium film and began making concept driven shorts, video-art and more recently documentary's.

Starting point is to transform my ideas to moving images, layered and with a touch of humor, strong representations that stem from curiosity and spontaneity.

New stories and ideas are often found around the corner in close vicinity of my own life. I never go looking, they doom up out of the ordinary. The context is wide, I never know where it begins or ends.

New subjects I’ll always approach low-key, without expectations and with minimized prejudices.
For me inspiration and new processes always develop from the bottom/sratch -up. By digging deeper and creating time to build a trustworthy relationship a clear significance comes through personal perception and stories develop. In trying to emphasize the ambivalence of a situation I guide the spectator into the reality of the subject.
I try to participate and observe, revealing the relation between the ordinary and the unusual, and so being able to create the ultimate story.
